Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 analytics for HCP, SUS and FSE across EMEA. You will translate complex technical issues into clear guidance while maintaining documentation and compliance.

Qualified candidates hold an engineering degree, 2–4 years robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. Regular CET hours with on-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years)
• Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian (C1/C2) required
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environments
• Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with software troubleshooting and technical issue analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE
• Drive escalation process and initiate field service support when needed
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete promptly
• Remote focus with occasional onsite support domestically and internationally
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotating shifts
