Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to join our remote support team. You will operate regionally and provide professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents.

Responsibilities include using service assurance tools, maintaining incident records, and coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure SLA compliance while applying knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and RiverBed technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
• Entry level knowledge of vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed.
• Entry level knowledge on management agent concepts, redundancy concepts and remote console architecture within supported technical domain.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until incident is resolved.
• Provides service recovery and documents and closes resolved incidents.
