Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients and identify and resolve incidents. You will drive incidents to resolution, ensuring adherence to SLA, and maintain documentation on configurations and service records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is required.
• Entry level knowledge of networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed, etc.
• Ability to communicate across cultures and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operates as an entry level engineer providing remote technical support to clients.
• Identifies and resolves incidents following defined procedures and SLAs.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to diagnose problems and generate reports.
• Maintains records of incidents, configurations and solutions.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows through until resolution.
• Collaborates with client IT environments, vendors and colleagues to expedite diagnosis.
