Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients, identify incidents and drive resolutions while maintaining SLA obligations.

The role involves monitoring service delivery, using knowledge articles, and coordinating with teams to ensure secure, accurate configuration and rapid incident closure. Remote work is supported with a focus on Cisco, Juniper, Aruba familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certifications in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate problems and report performance statistics.
• Identifies and resolves problems following procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
• Remotely investigates root causes and assists with remedies and preventative measures.
• Coordinates with clients, vendors and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
