Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents. This role focuses on restoring service, preventing SLA breaches, and maintaining accurate records across CIs.

You will work in a remote setting, collaborating with clients and vendors, applying knowledge of Cisco/Juniper-Aruba basics, and contributing to continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or Computing.
• Associate level networking certifications are expected.
• Entry level networking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate problems and collect performance statistics.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Remotely investigates and identifies root causes and assists with remedies and preventative measures.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures.
• Maintains configuration item records and protects assets from unauthorized change.
• Cooperates with stakeholders to expedite diagnosis and identify a resolution.
