Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) in a remote capacity. This entry-level role focuses on providing remote technical support, identifying and resolving incidents to restore service and meet SLAs.

You will work across cultures, use knowledge articles, and coordinate with vendors and teams to diagnose and resolve issues, escalate when needed, and implement remedies in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Monitors service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures.
