Job summary

NTT DATA invites applications for an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1). The role focuses on operating regionally to provide remote technical support, identifying and resolving incidents to restore services while meeting SLA targets.

Key tasks include following procedures, using diagnostics tools, maintaining CIs, coordinating with vendors and clients, and delivering continuous feedback while updating systems and portals per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
• Entry level knowledge of vendor technologies and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Maintains knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution and updates as required.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and records relevant information.
• Analyzes service records to identify actions to improve service levels.
• Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to procedures.
• Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Provides service recovery after incidents.
