Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving incidents to meet SLAs. The role emphasizes pre-emptive incident management, knowledge article utilization, and secure configuration management in a remote environment.

Ideal for entry-level engineers with a Bachelor’s in IT or Computing, plus associate networking certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or Computing or related field.
Associate level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.

Responsibilities

Maintains the support process and ensures requests are handled per procedures.
Uses service assurance tools to investigate, diagnose problems and report performance statistics.
Identifies and resolves problems following procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records.
Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
Documents and closes resolved incidents per procedures.
Coordinates with clients, vendors and teams to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
