Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients. You will identify and resolve incidents, monitor service delivery, and ensure SLA adherence while coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams.

This entry-level role requires understanding of networking technologies and strong communication skills to support customers in a remote working environment across diverse regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.
• Entry level knowledge of vendor technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed) and remote console architectures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and coordinates with clients and vendors to resolve issues.
