NTT DATA in Barcelona is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1), an entry-level role providing remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents. You will work to restore service quickly and ensure incidents meet SLAs across the region.

You'll maintain support processes, use service assurance tools, diagnose problems, and document resolutions while collaborating with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level networking experience including routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry level experience in remote technical support for networking technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of specialisms and provides detailed advice on their application.
