Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform to support HCP, SUS and FSE across EMEA. You will troubleshoot, implement remote fixes, and escalate issues as needed from 8:00–16:30 CET with on-call rotations, in a multinational environment.

We value problem-solving, robotics experience, and fluent Portuguese, English and Italian. Travel is occasional and support is provided across multiple EU regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and have ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support/training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00.
