Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a senior controller role.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Experience in a fully remote environment with distributed teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Mentor the accounting team and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Implement and manage financial systems and software.
