Our client, a rapidly expanding multinational with a strong base in Barcelona, seeks a Financial Controller to lead all accounting operations from a fully remote position across Spain. You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and regulatory compliance, delivering timely financial statements and strategic insights to senior management.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting/finance, fluency in Spanish and English, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in accounting/finance with controller or senior management experience.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Mentor the accounting team and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
