Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting or finance with senior/controller exposure
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle and Excel
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills
• Experience in fully remote environments and managing distributed teams
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement controls
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred
• Fluency in Spanish and English

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements under Spanish GAAP and IFRS
• Develop and implement accounting policies to improve controls and efficiency
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Lead and mentor an accounting team and coordinate external audits
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations
• Implement and manage financial systems and software
