Ethos, a rapidly expanding multinational, is seeking a Financial Controller for a fully remote leadership role across Spain. You will manage all accounting operations, ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP and IFRS, and deliver strategic financial insights to senior management.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, SAP/Oracle proficiency, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to lead distributed teams.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in accounting/finance, with controller or senior accounting management experience.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• SAP/Oracle proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience in fully remote environments with distributed teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all accounting operations: AP, AR, GL and payroll.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop policies to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Mentor the accounting team and support external audits.
• Ensure tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Implement and manage financial systems and software.
