Cuatrecasas is seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to lead our client's accounting operations from anywhere in Spain. You will manage all accounting functions, drive compliance with Spanish GAAP and IFRS, and deliver strategic financial insights to senior management.

The role demands 7+ years in accounting/finance, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a track record of remote leadership. A CPA/ACCA is highly preferred, with fluency in Spanish and English to collaborate across teams.

Competenze

7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, in controller or senior accounting roles.
Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.
Experience leading distributed teams in a fully remote environment.
Professional certification (CPA/ACCA) is highly preferred.

Mansioni

Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements comply with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Develop accounting policies to improve internal controls and efficiency.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Manage and mentor the accounting team and coordinate external audits.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
Implement and manage financial systems and software.
