Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients, identify and resolve incidents, and help ensure zero missed SLA conditions across regions. You will document actions and use service assurance tools to investigate problems, escalating as needed.

You'll work with networking fundamentals in routing, switching and wireless, contribute to knowledge articles, and collaborate with clients, vendors and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following procedures.
• Carries out maintenance tasks and updates knowledge articles as required.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents per procedures.
• Remotely investigates root causes and assists with remedies and preventative measures.
• Cooperates with clients, vendors, and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
