Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support and resolve incidents in a timely manner. You will monitor service delivery, follow incident management procedures, and work with clients and vendors to restore services and meet SLAs.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across cultures in a remote setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology or computing or related field.
Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.).
Entry-level experience in networking technologies including routing and switching.
Experience providing remote technical support to clients.
Familiarity with incident diagnosis and troubleshooting processes.
Understanding of network management concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Operate in-region to provide remote technical support and incident resolution.
Use service assurance software to investigate problems and collect performance data.
Diagnose incidents and escalate as needed while keeping SLA adherence.
Perform defined maintenance tasks and update knowledge articles as required.
Document and close resolved incidents following procedures.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to restore service.
