Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide expert remote technical support. You will identify, diagnose and resolve incidents, ensuring SLA adherence while coordinating with clients and vendors.

The role involves working remotely, maintaining configurations, and applying knowledge of networking concepts across Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and related technologies. Strong communication across cultures is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA.
Entry level experience in Networking technologies (routing, switching, Wireless).
Experience providing remote client support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Maintains the support process and handles requests according to procedures.
Uses service assurance tools to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents and escalates unresolved ones.
Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
Keeps knowledge articles up to date and coordinates with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Documents and closes resolved incidents and maintains CI configuration records.
