Job summary

Emergo by UL seeks aSenior Sales Executive in Europe to lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services for the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing and requires technical credibility to sell and respond to inquiries.

The position offers remote or hybrid work with offices in Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague, and entails travel up to 30% to meet clients and attend trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience and proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets (minimum $3 million/year).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through project scoping and contract execution.
• Understand customer needs, articulate Emergo by UL's value proposition in presentations and proposals, and manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; collaborate with subject matter experts to craft customized advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline through proactive outreach and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
• Build trust with customers to identify needs and integrate Human Factors into product development processes.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and tactics for the Human Factors business, including key industry events.
• Advise HF leadership on evolving customer needs, pain points, and industry trends.
• Maintain an ongoing plan to prioritize target accounts and nurture relationships throughout the year.
