Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for surgical robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics remotely across EMEA. The role requires advanced engineering or medical background, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.
Experience with analysing technical issues and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete in a timely manner.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Shift reviews: 8:00–16:30 CET, on-call 7:00–19:00 rotating.
