Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time Remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 AI platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will communicate with health care professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers, handling remote issues with occasional on-site support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or higher with relevant experience.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete and timely.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
