Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics in the EMEA region. You will support Hugo RAS and DS1 platforms, communicating with healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, often remotely, with occasional on-site availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience or 2 years with advanced degree.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with flexibility, multitasking and prioritization.
• Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement; software troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Robotic Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as a liaison.
• Escalate issues and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with judgment and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7AM–7PM with rotating coverage.
