Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo RAS and DS1 across the EMEA region. You will explain complex technical issues to HCPs, SUS and FSEs while maintaining documentation and driving improvements.

Occasional on-site work is possible in domestic and international locations. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years with advanced degree.
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience is acceptable.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, flexible, and able to multi-task and prioritise assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and analysing technical issues for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Act as technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit; escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Carry out technical activities requiring judgement and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
