Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. You will communicate complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS and FSEs, working primarily remotely with some onsite responsibilities.

Requires engineering degree with robotics/automation experience and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. The role includes remote support with international travel and on-call duties; salary varies by

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 2+ years; medical degree with technical skills acceptable.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and software troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring significant judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotating among colleagues.
