AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) for skilled project managers to join our power electronics & e-motor team in Valladolid.

If you are a project manager with power electronics and/or e-motor background with a passion for hybrid vehicle technology, hands‑on experience, and a desire to contribute to the evolution of sustainable transportation, we encourage you to apply. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure product/process development and industrialization according to standards and processes, in compliance with regulations, the legal obligation of the General Product Safety and customer Design System and suggest optimizations
• Ensure the robustness of the product / process design.
• Technical support for designers, preparation engineers, industrial facilities, managers, logisticians, quality analysis, commodity buyers, etc
• Guide or manage developers in achieving their deliverables.
• Suggesting technical solutions
• Signing of plans by team leader delegation
• Synthesis files on technical convergence and progress (design scope for IM)
• Quality Documentation
• Quality and Planning of Tooling Go Ahead
• Initiate technical Documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

• We are looking for engineers with different levels of experience:
  • Junior Level: no prior experience is required; recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Specialist Level: minimum of 2 years of experience in battery development.
  • Senior Level: minimum 4 years of experience in battery development.
• Background in some of the following areas:
  • Power electronics
  • E-motors
• Languages: Spanish and English are mandatory. Knowledge of French is desirable.
• Availability to travel frequently (20% time) to the clients' facilities.
