Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Market Development Specialist to drive adoption of Insertable Cardiac Monitors across Spain with remote and regional responsibilities. You will partner with sales, clinical teams, and healthcare providers to create patient pathways and regional programs.

The role requires a 5+ year MedTech sales background, fluency in English and Spanish, and a willingness to travel. You will develop plans, engage KOLs, and support infrastructure across centers of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a sales role within MedTech or pharmaceutical industry, or nursing background with transition intent.
• Clinical environment or medical technology sales experience.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and medical technologies.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license.
• Friendly, service‑oriented, independent and team player with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development by expanding the use of Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) in existing clinics and new centers, supporting broader product adoption and identifying new opportunities within the territory.
• Optimize and help establish patient pathways for Syncope and Cryptogenic Stroke, supporting the development of centers of excellence in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key stakeholders across the patient pathway, including cardiologists, neurologists, nursing staff, procurement teams, and coding professionals.
• Act as a key partner to the local sales team to raise awareness of clinical indications and economic value through peer‑to‑peer engagement, education, and regional training initiatives, including workshops and stakeholder roundtables.
• Collaborate with field service, marketing, reimbursement, and other relevant units to develop materials, share health economic information, and implement national and international programs.
• Partner with Cardiac Rhythm Management Sales teams, Technical Consultants and District manager to ensure execution of Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services projects.
• Develop and execute an annual regional market development plan with KPIs and account planning, supporting project work and process optimization.
• Capture and report clinical, market, and competitive insights to the Strategic Marketing Team and represent the business at regional, national, and international meetings.
