Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Market Development Specialist to expand the adoption of Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) across the Castilla-León region and neighboring areas. You will collaborate with clinicians, KOLs, and cross-functional teams to improve access and optimize patient pathways.

You will build relationships with healthcare professionals, drive regional market development plans, and participate in workshops and regional trainings while occasional travel within Europe is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a sales role within MedTech or pharmaceutical industry, or nursing background in cardiology/neurology.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development by expanding the use of Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) in clinics and centers.
• Optimize and establish patient pathways for Syncope and Cryptogenic Stroke with centers of excellence.
• Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders across patient pathways.
• Partner with local sales teams to raise awareness of clinical indications and economic value through peer-to-peer engagement and regional training.
• Collaborate with field service, marketing, and reimbursement teams to develop materials and implement programs.
• Coordinate with Cardiac Rhythm Management Sales teams and Technical Consultants to ensure project execution.
• Develop and execute an annual regional market development plan with defined strategies and KPIs.
• Capture insights and represent the business at regional, national, and international meetings.
