Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Market Development Specialist to expand the adoption of Insertable Cardiac Monitors across Castilla-León, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra and La Rioja. The preferred locations are Valladolid or Salamanca, with occasional travel within Europe.

You will collaborate with clinicians, KOLs, and the regional sales team to optimize patient pathways, develop centers of excellence, and execute regional plans, KPI tracking, and cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
• 5+ years in sales in MedTech/pharma or nursing in related fields.
• Clinical environment or medical technology sales experience.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and medical technologies.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong service orientation, team player, proactive, willing to travel, and experience in a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development expanding the use of Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) in existing clinics and new centers, supporting broader product adoption and identifying new opportunities within the territory.
• Optimize patient pathways for Syncope and Cryptogenic Stroke, supporting centers of excellence in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders across the patient pathway.
• Act as a key partner to the local sales team to raise awareness of clinical indications and economic value through peer-to-peer engagement, education, and regional training initiatives.
• Collaborate with field service, marketing, reimbursement, and other relevant units to develop materials, share health economic information, and implement programs.
• Partner with Sales Teams, Technical Consultants and District manager to ensure execution of Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services projects.
• Develop and execute an annual regional market development plan with KPI tracking and account planning.
• Capture and report clinical, market, and competitive insights to Strategic Marketing and represent the business at regional, national, and international meetings.
