Ruano Mudanzas, a Madrid-based moving company, is seeking a Managing Director to lead the local operation under Group Management. You will oversee daily activities, align operations with strategy and drive performance.

Responsibilities include managing the team, ensuring service quality, monitoring costs and margins, and developing new business across Spain while building strong client and supplier relationships. Fluency in Spanish and professional English is required; French would be a plus.

Formación

• Significant experience in management, operations and/or business development within the moving/relocation industry.
• Strong commercial mindset and proven business development skills.
• Hands-on and entrepreneurial approach.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Good understanding of financial and operational performance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day activities of the company and ensure smooth delivery of moving services.
• Lead, coordinate and support the local team.
• Ensure high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor operational performance, costs, margins and profitability.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, local regulations and Group standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and overall performance.
• Drive the commercial development of the company and contribute to revenue growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Madrid and across Spain.
• Prospect new clients and develop the existing client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals.
• Develop a strong local network and identify new market opportunities.
• Define and implement the commercial strategy in coordination with Group Management.
