Mermec seeks a Service Account Engineer and Field Operations Coordinator to drive operational excellence across projects in Spain, coordinating a local team and subcontractors from Madrid. The role blends front-line leadership with planning, training, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with the Italian team for training and coordination, travel up to 30% within the country, and support warranty and commissioning phases to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable outcomes.

Formación

• Strong technical background in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in similar roles within electronics, automotive, railway, or oil & gas industries.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English (mandatory), with strong communication skills.
• Organized, results-oriented, reliable, capable of working under pressure, and possessing a strong continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to acquire in-depth knowledge of Mermec systems and internal processes.
• Customer-focused approach aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting company profitability.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve targets and meet contract deadlines.
• Coordinate and schedule the team and on-site activities, including logistical aspects.
• Plan and monitor all activities required for contract execution.
• Interact with the Italian team during warranty and commissioning phases.
• Act as the on-site customer point of contact throughout the project duration.
• Provide technical advisory support to customers.
• Manage and control, through the coordinated team members, field spare parts and tools.
• Propose product and process improvements, where appropriate, with a 360-degree perspective.
• Support team training and professional development.
• Manage and monitor team performance.
