Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor invites applications for a Kitchen Intern in a luxury resort setting. You will gain hands-on experience in preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality dishes under senior chefs in a professional kitchen.

Seasonal full-time position (40 hours/week). We seek students studying Culinary Arts or related fields with a passion for cuisine, teamwork, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. Fluency in English or Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or related field.
• Passion for Culinary Arts in luxury hospitality or high-end restaurant environments.
• Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Proactive attitude, initiative, and team collaboration.
• Legal right to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Assist basic food preparation (washing, cutting, weighing, portioning) under guidance of the culinary team.
• Support mise en place, plating, and presentation during daily operations.
• Rotate through kitchen sections to understand culinary operations.
• Learn and apply cooking techniques, prep methods, and presentation standards.
• Label, date, store, and handle food according to procedures.
• Assist with receiving, organization and storage of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchens.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team with initiative and willingness to learn.
• Uphold Four Seasons' standards of quality, excellence and professionalism.
