Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor is seeking a Pastry Intern to support the pastry team in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while gaining hands-on experience in a professional luxury kitchen. You will work under the Pastry Chef, learning Four Seasons' standards, with a focus on technical skill development, creativity, and daily mise en place.

Fluency in English or Spanish and legal right to work in Spain are required.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in pastry and baking with enthusiasm to develop skills.
• Willingness to learn from experienced pastry professionals and receive feedback.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods under the pastry team's guidance.
• Support daily preparation, production, and service in the pastry section.
• Follow recipes, methods, and presentation standards for consistency and quality.
• Rotate through different pastry sections to gain comprehensive operations knowledge.
• Learn different pastry techniques and apply them in daily tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage within the pastry kitchen.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with mise en place organization for daily operations.
• Contribute creativity and new ideas to the pastry offering.
• Collaborate with team during service and support other kitchen colleagues as required.
• Uphold Four Seasons' standards of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
