Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor invites applications for a Kitchen Intern in a luxury resort setting. You will gain hands-on experience in preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality dishes under senior chefs in a professional kitchen.

Seasonal full-time position (40 hours/week). We seek students studying Culinary Arts or related fields with a passion for cuisine, teamwork, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. Fluency in English or Spanish is preferred.

About the role

The Kitchen Intern supports the culinary team in the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality dishes while gaining hands‑on experience in a professional luxury kitchen. Working under the guidance of the culinary team, the intern will develop essential cooking techniques, learn food safety and hygiene standards, and gain a comprehensive understanding of daily kitchen operations. This internship is ideal for culinary students eager to build their skills, gain practical experience, and develop their career in a dynamic hospitality environment.

What you will do

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, weighing, and portioning ingredients, following the guidance of the culinary team.


• Support the preparation of mise en place and the plating and presentation of dishes during daily operations.


• Rotate through different kitchen sections to gain a comprehensive understanding of culinary operations.


• Learn and apply cooking techniques, preparation methods, and presentation standards under the supervision of experienced chefs.


• Label, date, store, and handle food products correctly in accordance with established procedures.


• Support the receiving, organization, and proper storage of ingredients and raw materials.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.


• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.


• Collaborate with the culinary team during preparation and service, demonstrating initiative and willingness to learn.


• Uphold Four Seasons' standards of quality, excellence, and professionalism.

What you bring

• Culinary Education: Currently studying Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or a related field, with the possibility of establishing an internship agreement with an educational institution.
