Julius Baer in Madrid seeks an experienced IT Service Owner to oversee end-to-end IT service operations aligned with SLAs and lifecycle management.

You will lead business analysis, design solutions with vendors, and implement changes. Responsible for testing product releases, data migrations, and impact analyses, with a deputy team head role for a larger Zurich-based team in a dynamic, multilingual environment.

Formación

• Min 5 years as IT Service Owner or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise IT infra.
• Experience with end-of-day processing (AWA) and API/IBM MQ interfaces.
• Experience communicating with business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Knowledge of security aspects of applications and change/release management.

Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements. This encompasses the thorough understanding and meticulous tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Application management (Maintenance and Support, SLA, Incident-, Problem-, Release/Test-, Risk-Mgmt, Documentation)
• Business Analysis, Solution Design and implementation/deployment of Changes/Enhancements in cooperation with the software vendor
• Implementation and Testing of Product Releases
• Project assignments (Data migrations, impact analysis)
• Team head deputy role for a larger team, which is mainly based in Zürich

YOUR PROFILE

• Sound knowledge of MS Windows Server environments and ETL Tools, MS SQL, reporting and scripting
• Experience with end-of-day processing (AWA), communication between applications and modern interfaces (APIs, IBM MQ)
• Confident interaction with business stakeholders, system engineers, database administrators and external solution providers
• Knowledgeable about security aspects of applications and incident/change/release management processes within large companies in the financial sector
• First experience as a Team Head preferred - or a strong ambition to move into a leadership role.
• Experience in Treasury and Nostro business preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Good knowledge of ITIL frameworks and enterprise IT infrastructure
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Service Owner, Application Responsible or a similar role
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset in our multicultural environment
