Julius Baer is seeking a highly motivated Business Manager for the Technology Operating Office. You will drive operational and financial governance, develop data extraction queries, and support Run-the-Bank and Change-the-Bank initiatives.

The role combines data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision making. English communication is essential in this global team.

Formación

• Candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modelling.
• Experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or SAP S4/HANA; programming in C# is advantageous.

• Assist in designing, maintaining, and documenting relational data models.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement improvements.

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Manager who is passionate about driving operational and financial governance, as well as project management office topics for the Group’s Technology area. You will join a dynamic and experienced team within the COO Chief of Staff unit, comprised of experts who act as sparring partners to the COO senior management, supporting them in achieving their objectives and vision around Run-the-Bank (RtB) and Change-the-Bank (CtB).
In this challenging and exciting role, you will be part of the Technology Operating Office team.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support monthly closing & reporting processes for Group’s Technology area
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases to support business and financial processes
• Analyse and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Support the design, maintenance, and documentation of relational data models
• Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing improvements
• Contribute to ongoing digitalization and data-driven initiatives

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Finance or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a larger corporate environment, ideally within Technology, Finance, or a combination of both
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling
• Experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and / or SAP S4 / Hana is an advantage, as well as programming skills in languages such as C#
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Very good communication skills in English
