Job summary

Mahle SBS in Barcelona (Onsite) seeks a Technical Support Advisor (French-speaking) to support customers by email and phone, resolve product inquiries, and build long-term relationships. You will guide diagnostics and troubleshooting with OEMs, coordinate parts and maintenance actions, and contribute to improvements in product support processes.

The role requires a background in bike/mechatronics and strong communication skills, working onsite in Barcelona with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bike industry or mechatronic background is important.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers via e‑mail and phone.
• Addresses, responds and resolves to customer inquiries on products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide response in a timely manner to customers queries and focuses on building close long‑term client relationships.
• Delivers training to OEM´s and assemblers as per request and business needs.
• Deploys high level knowledge in the market and collect information for corrective action & improvement.
• Takes control of OEM´s claim by escalating to key company areas if necessary.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain department for parts pick-ups and replacement shipments.
• Guides customers through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
• Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
• Prepares customer reports to track progress on improvement actions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
