Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients, diagnose incidents, and drive resolutions. The role emphasizes maintaining service levels and documenting incidents with knowledge articles, while coordinating with vendors and teams remotely.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or Computing.
Associate level networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
Entry-level experience in routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
Experience providing remote client support.
Basic knowledge of incident management processes.

Responsibilities

Maintain the support process and handle requests per procedures.
Use service assurance tools to diagnose problems and create reports.
Prioritize and diagnose incidents per procedures.
Escalate unresolved incidents and track resolutions to closure.
Maintain configuration item (CI) records and related information.
