A leading powertrain solutions company is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to join their team in Valladolid, Spain. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in automotive projects, particularly in internal combustion engines and hybrid systems. Responsibilities include ensuring product design robustness, providing technical support, and managing simulation activities. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with knowledge of French being a plus. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

• Ensure the robustness of the product / process design.
• Technical support for designers, preparation engineers, industrial facilities contract managers, logisticians, quality analysts, etc. in carrying out their activities.
• Guide or manage developers in achieving their deliverables.
• Manage part of Digital simulation activities which are necessary to ensure project development within QCD and TEI (budget) constraints.
• Capitalise Digital know-how in product/process development.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record of, at least, 10 years in mechanical engineering projects, especially in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent skills working internal combustion engines, gearboxes and hybrid system components.
• Strong competencies in transversal teams communication, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French is valued but not mandatory.
