Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Manager, EMEA Payroll to lead payroll operations across the MEDNA region. The role demands delivering accurate, compliant payroll, audits, and ongoing process improvements while partnering with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field, 7–9 years of payroll experience, and CPP certification, with proven leadership and change-management capabilities. Remote work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, plus 7–9 years of payroll experience.
• 3–5 years' experience in processing and managing complex EMEA payrolls, with focus on regulations, tax, compliance and labor laws.
• CPP certification and leadership experience are required.
• Strategic thinking in resolving payroll issues with attention to timing and tax implications.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Approve all payroll-related payments in their jurisdiction and conduct audits for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with country and regional labor laws and tax requirements.
• Lead and manage payroll team performance, capacity planning, and development.
• Oversee PTO scheduling and hiring decisions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Monitor payroll process documentation and support system enhancements with HRIS and IT teams.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to provide payroll reports and insights to stakeholders.
