Qualifications

• One year of experience in Customer Service or related roles.
• Fluent English written and spoken; additional languages valued.
• Experience coordinating with sales, logistics and operations is a plus.

To support our European Customer Service team, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join us in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).

This is a temporary position to cover a medical leave, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a leading international company and work within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

About The Role

Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, Europe, you will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout the entire order management process.

You will work closely with customers, sales teams, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment while proactively addressing customer needs and identifying opportunities to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone and email.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, products, pricing, and general information.
• Process quotations and customer orders in the ERP system.
• Manage claims, complaints, and order‑related incidents.
• Monitor order status and proactively provide updates to customers.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve availability, delivery, or product‑related issues.
• Support the sales team with order follow‑up and customer requests.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate with Operations to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities.
• Provide basic technical support regarding Hayward products.
• Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Sales Support, Export Administration, or a similar role.
• Strong customer orientation and service mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Languages

• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Additional languages are highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of export documentation, including: Bill of Lading (BL) Air Waybill (AWB) DUA Certificates of Origin Cash Against Documents (CAD) Letters of Credit (LC)
