Job summary

Hayward Ibérica SLU in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, is seeking an After Sales Technician to support French-speaking customers. You will handle warranty claims, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate has a VET in electronics or similar, at least one year in after-sales or technical support, and fluency in French, English, and Spanish. Knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in after-sales, technical support, or repair roles.
• Fluent French, English, and Spanish are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

To strengthen our European Customer Care team, we are looking for an After Sales Technician to support our French-speaking customers from our offices in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage warranty claims and after-sales service requests from customers.
• Provide technical support and guidance regarding Hayward products and solutions.
• Assist customers in resolving product-related issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to gather feedback on product quality and service performance.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Ensure all customer interactions are aligned with Hayward's customer service standards.
• Coordinate repair and replacement processes, including stock availability planning and follow-up until completion.
• Work closely with Logistics and other internal departments to ensure efficient resolution of customer cases.
• Monitor and report key after-sales KPIs and service metrics.
• Identify recurring technical issues and communicate relevant insights to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hayward products, technologies, and industry developments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Customer Care function.

What We're Looking For

• Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar after-sales, technical support, customer service, or repair-related role.
• Strong customer orientation and commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset.
• Analytical approach with great attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Fluent French.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
