Job summary

Rayner is seeking an Advanced Technology Specialist to drive the premium IOL portfolio, including Galaxy, in Iberia. You will lead the Premium sector, leveraging deep knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOLs to grow private-sector sales and clinical engagement.

You will train the local sales team, monitor market developments, and develop a robust KOL network across the region, coordinating with Marketing and Eye Sciences to enhance scientific promotion and education.

Qualifications

• Extensive KOL/ophthalmic surgeon network in local sector.
• Experience within local ophthalmology sector.
• Experience selling into the private healthcare environment.
• Full driving license.
• Educated to Degree level.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including Galaxy.
• Lead the Premium sector in Iberia with Rayner knowledge of Premium IOL technology.
• Support and drive clinical expertise across private sector groups in line with the local Strategy.
• Provide regular training to the local sales team and keep updated with market developments.
• Travel extensively across the region, focusing on areas with private IOL surgery.
• Develop a network of KOLs across the region and manage a program of scientific promotions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence and deliver medical education materials.

The Advanced Technology Specialist drives and achieves the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy.

In this exciting role in our Iberia Sales team, you will lead the Premium sector here at Rayner in Iberia, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Primary objective is to drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy
• Lead the Premium sector, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology
• Support and drive clinical expertise across the private sector groups in line with the local Strategy
• Keep updated with market developments, providing regular training to the local sales team
• Extensive travel across your region, with particular focus on concentrated areas of private IOL surgery
• Develop a network of KOLs across the region maintaining a strong program of scientific promotions
• Work closely with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence, deliver high quality medical education, webinars, case studies and articles
• Work closely with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors
• Plan, coordinate and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of Rayner product range and technology
