Job summary

Rayner Surgical Group in Iberia seeks an Advanced Technology Specialist to lead premium IOL sales, including Galaxy, across the region. You will drive targets, train the local team, and build a powerful KOL network while staying ahead of market developments and partner with marketing to elevate Rayner's presence.

You will travel extensively within Iberia, coordinate with distributors and country leadership, and oversee clinical evaluations to ensure product acceptance across private

Qualifications

• Experience driving growth in premium IOL market segments.
• Extensive network with ophthalmic surgeons (KOLs) locally.
• Background in the local ophthalmology landscape and private care sales.
• Full driving license held and usable across Iberia.
• Degree level education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales targets for the premium IOL portfolio including Galaxy.
• Lead the Premium sector with strong Rayner product knowledge and competitive insights.
• Support clinical expertise across private sector groups per local strategy.
• Provide regular market training to the local sales team.
• Travel extensively across the region focusing on private IOL surgery areas.
• Develop a network of KOLs and maintain a robust scientific promotions program.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Eye Sciences to boost podium presence and education.
• Work with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors.
• Plan, coordinate and run clinical evaluations for Rayner products.

The Advanced Technology Specialist drives and achieves the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy.

In this exciting role in our Iberia Sales team, you will lead the Premium sector here at Rayner in Iberia, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Primary objective is to drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy
• Lead the Premium sector, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology
• Support and drive clinical expertise across the private sector groups in line with the local Strategy
• Keep updated with market developments, providing regular training to the local sales team
• Extensive travel across your region, with particular focus on concentrated areas of private IOL surgery
• Develop a network of KOLs across the region maintaining a strong program of scientific promotions
• Work closely with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence, deliver high quality medical education, webinars, case studies and articles
• Work closely with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors
• Plan, coordinate and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of Rayner product range and technology

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:

Essential:

• Transferable premium IOL market share
• Extensive KOL/ophthalmic surgeon network in local sector
• Experience within local ophthalmology sector
• Experience selling into the private healthcare environment
• Full driving license

Desirable:

• Educated to Degree level
