Job Description:
As a (Junior) Product Manager (mIfId) for PCR and NGS Analysis Software, you will drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions for the next-generation PCR and Sequencing technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring that our software is intuitive, powerful, and meets the evolving needs of researchers and clinicians.
- Market Insight and Product Strategy: Drive the identification and development of software products that meet market needs, focusing on PCR and Sequencing technologies. Conduct competitive analysis, benchmarking, and develop long-term product strategies for market leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise between internal teams (engineering, R&D, software development) and external customers. Gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and define product features and roadmaps.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Ensure alignment with platform developments and that product features meet user needs and market expectations, working closely with experts.
- Customer Support and Engagement: Support field application specialists and assist customers in maximizing software value.
- International Market Analysis: Analyze customer feedback and refine product strategies to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.
Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, or engineering with experience in sequencing analysis software. Several years of experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or genomics; industry experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of sequencing analysis applications (PCR, NGS, single-cell sequencing).
- Ability to translate customer challenges into actionable software solutions, focusing on usability and market needs.
- Familiarity with compliance and data integrity in regulated markets (e.g., FDA, CE) is advantageous.
- Proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and comfortable working in collaborative environments.
- Willing to travel globally (minimum 20%), including field visits and industry conferences.
