Exciting opportunity alert! Our esteemed tech industry client seeks a (Senior) SW Product Owner - Video Products (all genders) specializing in Video Software products. The role involves leading the creation of industry-standard software for video products.

YOUR ROLE:

• Take charge of software projects linked to the company's Camera and Capture products, aligning them with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Manage the product backlog, develop product roadmaps in accordance with stakeholder feedback, and align these to the product vision.

• Gather, document, and ensure that product requirements from various stakeholders meet business and customer expectations.

• Facilitate the Agile development process, guiding and aligning the team for effective collaboration.

• Set up and maintain effective, scalable processes and services to provide necessary information and assets for high-quality software development.

• Oversee product releases, including stakeholder communication and inter-departmental coordination.

• Track and measure product success through the collection and evaluation of relevant data.

• Undertake research and ideation to improve the product and maintain a competitive edge.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as developers, designers, and testers, to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Act as the main point of contact for the company's video software products, handle inquiries, provide product information, and collaborate for seamless integration with other products and services.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Holds a university degree in computer science, software engineering, or has equivalent education or professional experience.

• Has a background in streaming or content creation, an interest in the field, and a record of creating compelling user experiences in consumer-facing software products.

• Comes with experience in software development, including familiarity with processes and practices required by professional software engineering teams. Experience managing software projects would be advantageous.

• Demonstrates a history of delivering successful software applications and mentoring a team to achieve this.

• Ideally has experience in C++ programming and developing desktop applications for macOS and/or Windows.

• Displays a focus on developing feature-rich yet intuitive products and has the analytical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure software engineers can deliver these.

• Communicates confidently, exhibits both technical and people leadership skills.

• Possesses fluency in both written and spoken English. German language skills are beneficial.
