Senior Java Architect
Job summary
A leading technology firm is seeking a Senior Java Architect to drive the development of well-architected applications in the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Java and its frameworks, including Spring Boot, with a strong focus on quality and automation through CI/CD practices. This remote position requires deep expertise in multithreading, data structures, and API services to ensure high-quality code and effective collaboration within the team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and related Java Architecture.
- Experience with Multi-threading, Collections, and API calls in Native APIs.
- Thorough experience in writing high-quality code with automated unit test coverage.

- Drive mentality of building well architected applications for AWS Cloud
- Drive the mentality of quality being owned by the entire team
- Identify code defects and work with developers to address quality issues in product code.
- Finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code through the use of automation tools.
- Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative agile pattern daily.
- Ownership over your work task and are comfortable interacting with all levels of the team and raise challenges when necessary.
- 10 + years of relevant experience in JAVA , J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and related Java Architecture
- Working Experience with Java 8+ and knowledge of latest Java 9 features
- Experience with Multi-threading, Collections, Multiple API calls in Native API’s
- Thorough experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
- Thorough experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solutions.
- Working experience with various CI/CD tools
- Working experience with AWS, PCF, Open Shift
- Working experience with data platforms (relational and/or NoSQL) and messaging technologies
- Working experience with MVC frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot etc.
- Working experience with web-services (REST, SOAP) and/or experience in Microservices
- Deep knowledge of OOPs, data structure, and algorithm
