Job Responsibilities
- Migration of various components associated with Office 365 across an enterprise includes all Microsoft products (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.).
- The successful candidate will be able to adapt to client needs, and be able to build an Office 365 Roadmap, while staying abreast of the latest Office 365 services.
- The Substream Lead will collaborate with a diverse workforce within a matrix environment and be able to communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements.
- The candidate will manage resources, schedule, customer engagement, and ensure end-user satisfaction.
- The candidate will have Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators reporting directly on a day-to-day basis.
Key accountabilities include
- Manage enterprise scale projects across the O365 and Microsoft Cloud platform, interacting with stakeholders and be accountable for the successful completion of the project.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and issues as per PMI, Agile standards.
- Experience with large scale migrations, on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to cloud/O365. Including O365 Tenant to Tenant migrations as part of an acquisition and/or merger.
- Familiarity with organizational change management including end user training.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with distributed teams in a highly matrixed organization.
- Accountable for the successful migration of users and data to Microsoft Cloud and Office365: Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Yammer, Viva, and SharePoint.
- Prepare and deliver executive dashboards, presentations, and facilitate decisions among senior stakeholders.
- Requires executive presence in communications with all stakeholders.
- Ability to manage direct reports and provide clear direction, oversight, coaching, teaching, and willingness to get directly involved when warranted to achieve the results required.
- Discover, assess, and document business requirements and keep them up to date.
- Negotiate downtime with business and end-users for migration and change windows.
- Create, submit, support, and run the change as required.
- Create change management documentation and represent change in CAB meetings.
- Organize, attend, and participate in all assigned daily, weekly, and bi-weekly stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly communications as assigned
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study, Master’s degree preferred or compatible years of demonstrated work experience.
- 15 to 20 years in information technology with at least 10 years as a technology program manager.
- 10+ years of Migration Program Management experience with at least 3 years involving Microsoft O365 solutions.
- Preference for a PMP certification or demonstrated work experience.
- Beneficial ITIL certification or demonstrated work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud migration projects involving Tenant to Tenant activities.
- Excellent knowledge of O365, Azure and other cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to lead with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing large and complex IT projects.
- Familiarity with MS Intune, Azure, AAD, and the other management tools.
- Proficiency with Project Management Principles, Waterfall model, Agile/Scrum framework.
- Proficiency using MS Visio, MS Project, ServiceNow PPM, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency using MS Office Products: Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint.
- Proficiency using Web Browsers: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
- Proficiency using Collaboration Tools: MS Teams and Cisco WebEx.
- Self-Starter that can manage their own activities with minimal supervision.
- Desirable Agile/Scrum certification.
- Must possess strong creative, communication, and collaboration skills.
