Job Description:
To complement our team in Munich, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. You will play an active role in shaping Munich Re’s non-financial risk management with a varied field of activities in an international business environment.
YOUR JOB
- Coordinate inquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as senior management or regulatory authorities in cooperation with subject matter experts.
- Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate risk committees of Munich Re Group.
- Manage the cyber and non-financial risk project portfolio by identifying demand, supporting ongoing prioritization, and monitoring implementation in collaboration with IT organization.
- Support non-financial risk and information security related projects and task forces.
- Track and mitigate known deficiencies and audit findings.
- Support assessments of significant (cyber) risks.
- Monitor and evaluate non-financial risk and information security related technological trends, threats, and issues.
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, such as global risk management teams, IT, Audit, Compliance, and business units.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree, preferably in a technical subject or economics.
- Professional experience, ideally in risk management, information security, or related fields, with motivation to deepen required expertise.
- Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work packages and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly and understandably.
- Proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to deal with complex issues.
- Strong perseverance, ability to work under pressure, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
