We craft cutting-edge advertising solutions for the local delivery market, enabling partners to attract and retain clients and helping platform users discover new culinary delights. We operate on a “build and run” ethos with self-reliant, cross-functional squads deploying and iterating quickly using micro frontends and event-driven microservices.

About Campaigns Squad

You will be part of the squad managing critical services supporting Delivery Hero’s global operations. Responsibilities include maintaining the Campaigns Service for creating and managing campaigns and the Advertiser Service for advertiser data. Your focus will be on enhancing scalability, performance, and resilience.

Your Mission:

• Develop solutions that help restaurants and shops advertise their offers to attract and retain clients.
• Architect and implement efficient backend services for web applications.
• Improve existing solutions’ user experience and performance.
• Collaborate with other squads to build a future-proof platform.

Qualifications

Your Heroic Skills:

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architecture, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Nice to have skills:

• Expertise in Golang.
• Experience with cloud providers (preferably GCP), Terraform, Helm.
• Experience with Redis or Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TravisCI, Drone, Spinnaker).
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, alerting tools (Datadog, Grafana, NewRelic, Prometheus, Icinga, Kibana).
• Ability to understand domain business logic and contribute to it.
• Experience designing and optimizing scalable systems.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.
• Strong focus on code quality and testing.
